Welcome to Chronicles, the sick new game mode for Age of Empires II, but this time we're diving deep into ancient history. It’s got all the classic gameplay we love, but with some next-level updates — we're talking fresh mechanics and visuals straight outta ancient times. You’re gonna feel like you’re there, trust me.
This first chapter is only the beginning of a massive saga. You’ll be thrown into over 100 years of wild history. First, you’ll ride with Persia during the Ionian Revolt, then defend Greece in the epic Greco-Persian Wars. After that, you’ll watch as Athens gives birth to democracy (spoiler: it’s not as chill as it sounds), and get ready for the brutal grind of the Peloponnesian War.
Along the way, you’ll meet legendary figures like Artemisia, the savage warrior queen, Themistocles, the genius tactician, and Brasidas, the hero who just won’t quit. And the best part? The voice acting is fire and the storytelling’s so real it’ll have you feeling like you’re living it. You may also be interested in the game Lego Horizon Adventures.
