Yo dude, Smack Studio is like this sick sandbox fighting game where you can totally mess around with epic creation tools. You can turn 2D sprites into 3D animations using our rad new tech, and get your characters from just an idea to an actual game super fast, thanks to automation tools that speed things up. Battle it out with up to 8 players or export your animations for your own projects, bro!
You can go head-to-head with your buddies offline in 8-player battles or online in 4-player matches with smooth rollback netcode. The gameplay is super fast and competitive and you can pull off some insane combos. You can even make your own ultra attacks (though we’ll balance the default ones for fairness).
Play with any DirectInput or XInput controller, and even use GameCube controllers with the right adapter, dude! You can create pixel art animations with 3D depth and rotation, and turn a character from a concept to a playable dude in under 30 minutes using templates or community-created characters. Plus, you can animate frame-by-frame for that extra polish.

The max canvas size is 256x256 pixels, but we might up that later. Characters should be between 50 and 150 pixels tall for the best results, but you can still use different sizes if you’re okay with some extra cleanup.
Smack Studio needs a bit more power than most pixel art tools because of its 3D stuff and Unreal Engine, but hopefully, it’s worth it for both players and artists!
