Amidst all that chaos, the Ming rulers kept layin' down these brutal rules, which led to a massive famine and tons of folks rebelling against the big shots.
Now, there's this dude named Liang, a bit of a shady character, and his buddy Tongue. They get hired to do a sketchy job by this dodgy merchant: escorting four girls to some rich dude in Luoyang. They gotta pass through a bunch of towns to get there.
At first, Liang thinks they're just takin' the girls to be like adopted or somethin'. But then, one of the girls spills the beans: the rich dude is actually a demon who eats young girls for his birthday bash!
